This program, developed by the Tai Chi for Health Institute, is easy and enjoyable to learn, provides great benefits for improving health and wellness and gives solid foundation in tai chi and qigong principles. This class comprises the first 5 movements of the Yang-style 24 form set, the most popular set practiced in the world, characterized by slow, gentle expansive movements. Recent medical studies show that tai chi improves many aspects of health- muscular strength, flexibility, and physical fitness, relaxed mind and improved mental balance to help manage stress. Tai Chi for Health is endorsed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
