Life presents challenges that stress our ability to successfully navigate the difficulties. Psychotherapy provides an opportunity for growth, change, and healing. Every person has the innate capacity for well-being and a full and satisfying life. The process of psychotherapy helps clients identify what may be blocking them from what they desire and taps into their creativity in seeking a successful resolution that involves growth, change and healing. Establishing a safe and accepting relationship with clients allows them to explore personal growth, achieve mental health, and develop or enhance personal well-being.
Collaborative Psychotherapy, LLC was established as a vehicle for providing effective and transformative experiences for clients reaching for more in their lives. With over 20 years of helping clients manage and resolve the challenges they face, Psychotherapist Terence Gunville assists clients in achieving their own individual and lifestyle goals. He is a WI Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Cardinal Stritch University and his Master’s Degree is in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University. Additionally, he has a Master’s Degree in Theology. An active participant in professional continuing education, Terence has post-graduate training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
In addition to providing individualized psychotherapy to adults and adolescents, Terry has teamed up with Psychotherapist Carol Seydewitz to offer a unique service to assist couples in achieving the marital intimacy they long for. Couples learn the language and listening skills necessary for open, honest and life-giving dialogue.
Terry is available for a brief complimentary phone consultation for any questions regarding psychotherapy or to schedule a comprehensive consultation.
