Charlene comes to GreenSquare Center for the Healing Arts with 15 years of research and work in the rapidly emerging field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Her experience and education have been unique and varied, including:
• Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center nursing graduate, with subsequent practice in a variety of specialties throughout the U.S.
• Physician's practice management for nutrition in cancer care
• “Cancer Guides” comprehensive training in Integrative Oncology and “Food As Medicine” through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Washington, D.C., in conjunction with The University of Minnesota and Georgetown University School of Medicine
• Nutrition Response Testing, Ulan Nutritional Systems
• Lobbyist for Freedom of Health Care Choice, Government Accountability Board, Madison, WI
• Duke Integrative Medicine, Professional Health Coaching Graduate
Charlene shares her compassion and concern for her clients by navigating the maze of information that exists in the world of Integrative Medicine; assisting and advocating for each client, taking into consideration the uniqueness of their circumstances and creating a personalized plan that addresses each individual’s needs and desires. Woven into this process are highly researched referrals to local, regional and national experts.
