FUNCTIONAL YOGA ~ WOMEN’S CLASS @ Greensquare Center for the Healing Arts - Lower Level Education Center
Feb 3 @ 9:30 am – 11:00 am

This “Women’s only,” Functional Yoga Class will focus on maintaining and gently increasing ROM (range of motion) of the body through the use of yoga postures.  The goal is to help students become more body aware and find greater ease of functioning on a daily basis.

Meet Julianna Kapp, RYT 200

Julianna has been practicing yoga since 1990 and is a Certified RYT 200 teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Her style is eclectic and her belief is that “form follows function” . This means that the yoga postures are seen as a starting point and will differ depending on everyone’s unique physiology. Her aim is to build body and breath  awareness  through yoga and help people function better in daily life.

Her  most influential teacher is Donna Farhi ( New Zealand) from whom she learned to move gently through space. Many other teachers have contributed to her learning and she thanks them and the students that honor her with their trust.
