Your child will be supported in expressing thoughts & feelings through visual arts, movement and yoga breathing techniques. The creative arts and play therapy are natural ways for children to reduce anxiety, process their world and continue developing with confidence and grace. A parent or guardian is encouraged to participate in the first and last sessions in order to affirm each child’s importance. The last session will be a celebration of the positive coping skills and strengths discovered in class.

The Alexander Technique addresses how we hold ourselves upright and how we find balance in activity. How can we discover if our habits are helping or hindering us? The class will explore principles of the Alexander Technique through movement. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga mat or towel for floor work, a water bottle and anything else needed for your comfort. The class concludes on the floor with a guided constructive rest. Please register in advance.
