10/24: CLASS TWO: The Breath- Breathing techniques to enhance health and well being, as well as, lessen symptoms of emotional and physical distress.
10/31, 11/7: CLASS THREE & FOUR: Mindfulness of the Body- Mindfulness of the body will focus on skillful means of coping with physical and emotional pain residing in the body. Guided imagery, relaxation techniques and mindful movement practices will be taught.
11/14, 11/28: CLASS FIVE & SIX: Mindfulness of Feeling- Mindfulness of feeling teaches how to live skillfully in the moment with the emotions as they arise. One learns to respond to life rather than react. The participant will also learn to access more positive feeling states.
12/5, 12/12: CLASS SEVEN & EIGHT: Mindfulness of Thought- Mindfulness of Thought teaches one to become aware of their personal thought process and learn how their thoughts affect both their body and emotions. The participants learn to choose their thoughts rather than be controlled by them.
