Shortly after his undergraduate studies, Andrew earned his certification and license as an Athletic Trainer (LAT,ATC). He also earned his personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He then was able to have the knowledge and skill set to work with clients who have pain or an injury.

Andrew continually strives to improve upon his practice by continuing to improve on a more in-depth thought process and becoming more precise with his skill set.  As a result, he is able to evaluate, discover, and address low quality muscular contractions with great proficiency.  He is then able to progress a client’s muscular system through an array of strategies.

Andrew opened Muscle Dynamics in 2016 and set out a goal to help all his clients to move, feel better and get stronger all at the same time. Andrew has experience working with all sorts of individuals ranging from all walks of life. Ranging from people who feel that they can’t exercise anymore to people who are confused on where to even start their exercise journey. He also works with elite athletes who are looking to take their game to the next level.

Barb Basaj, TBP, is a lifelong seeker of fitness and natural wellness. She finds joy in helping people relieve muscle tension, improve mobility, and achieve an overall feeling of well-being and “able-bodied-ness”. She is a certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner, trained at the Coaching The Body Institute in Evanston, IL, where she learned to integrated modern Trigger Point Therapy into a traditional Thai assisted yoga session. Barb is also trained in Neural Reset Therapy (NRT), a non-massage muscle energy technique that can quickly relieve tight muscles and improve range of movement. Having received a variety of physical healing modalities for muscle and joint pain, she experienced the most benefit from Thai bodywork, and felt inspired to pass on this gift of healing as a tribute to her late mother, who suffered undiagnosed pain for many years.

Barb was an engineer in a past life, and easy blends a practical, mechanical systems approach with the gentle work of subtle energy and human compassion. A firm believer in the “motion is lotion” mantra, Barb strives to live a full, active life and help others do the same.

In her free time, Barb enjoys BMX racing, vegetable gardening, choral singing, playing percussion, and spending time with her family and pets.
