Andrew Hoppert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2009. Shortly after his undergraduate studies, Andrew earned his certification and license as an Athletic Trainer (LAT,ATC). He also earned his personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He then was able to have the knowledge and skill set to work with clients who have pain or an injury.

Andrew continually strives to improve upon his practice by continuing to improve on a more in-depth thought process and becoming more precise with his skill set.  As a result, he is able to evaluate, discover, and address low quality muscular contractions with great proficiency.  He is then able to progress a client’s muscular system through an array of strategies.

Andrew opened Muscle Dynamics in 2016 and set out a goal to help all his clients to move, feel better and get stronger all at the same time. Andrew has experience working with all sorts of individuals ranging from all walks of life. Ranging from people who feel that they can’t exercise anymore to people who are confused on where to even start their exercise journey. He also works with elite athletes who are looking to take their game to the next level.

Barb Basaj, TBP, is a lifelong seeker of fitness and natural wellness. She finds joy in helping people relieve muscle tension, improve mobility, and achieve an overall feeling of well-being and “able-bodied-ness”. She is a certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner, trained at the Coaching The Body Institute in Evanston, IL, where she learned to integrated modern Trigger Point Therapy into a traditional Thai assisted yoga session. Barb is also trained in Neural Reset Therapy (NRT), a non-massage muscle energy technique that can quickly relieve tight muscles and improve range of movement. Having received a variety of physical healing modalities for muscle and joint pain, she experienced the most benefit from Thai bodywork, and felt inspired to pass on this gift of healing as a tribute to her late mother, who suffered undiagnosed pain for many years.

Barb was an engineer in a past life, and easy blends a practical, mechanical systems approach with the gentle work of subtle energy and human compassion. A firm believer in the “motion is lotion” mantra, Barb strives to live a full, active life and help others do the same.

In her free time, Barb enjoys BMX racing, vegetable gardening, choral singing, playing percussion, and spending time with her family and pets.

Bruce Semon, MD, PhD. Nutrition, Homeopathy, is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist who holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition. He has combined his knowledge of medicine and nutrition to address difficult-to-treat disorders, some of which are considered incurable. In particular, Dr. Semon has used his knowledge of nutrition, food chemistry, and the yeast Candida albicans to develop a diet which works extremely well for yeast-related disorders. In addition, Dr. Semon has studied and uses homeopathy in his practice.

Dr. Semon holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Nutrition from the University of California-Davis. Dr. Semon is also a board certified medical doctor (M.D.) (psychiatry), having graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After receiving his M.D. and Ph.D., Dr. Semon researched for two years at the National Cancer Institute in Maryland. Dr. Semon specialized in child psychiatry. Gail Vella, CRR, RYT, CLYL, is an International Institute of Reflexology Certified Registered Reflexologist (CRR). Gail’s goal during treatment at Compassionate Reflexology & Yoga Wellness Center is to create a response to release congestion or stress in the nervous system to help balance the body’s energy so it can nurture and repair itself. Gail, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Sarah Filzen at Kanyakumari Ayurveda & Yoga Wellness Center in Glendale, Wisconsin. She is a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader (CLYL) completing the training at Dr. Kataria School of Laughter Yoga. She is also is certified by The Arthritis Foundation as an Exercise Program Instructor. Susan Nycz,  has been active and involved in health and wellness for over 24 years. She is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® and Anat Baniel Method for Children SM Practitioner, and a nationally certified and state licensed massage therapist.

Susan was drawntothe Feldenkrais Method after suffering a serious shoulder injury. This work eliminated the pain and returned all movement and function of her shoulder and arm.  This led to her commitment to becoming a Feldenkrais Practitioner.  She completed her basic Feldenkrais training with Anat Baniel (1997-2000, Chicago).  Susan continues to evolve her skills by studying with Feldenkrais trainer, Francois Combeau, as part of his American mentored/advance training group (2000 – present, Detroit).  In addition, she has also taken advanced trainings with Mia Segal and Paul Rubin in Chicago and Milwaukee.  Susan completed the Children’s Mastery training with Anat Baniel (2009-2010, San Rafael) and works with special needs children.  This is the most joyful and rewarding part of her practice.  Last year, Susan began working with dogs (amputees, arthritis, knee/elbow/hip issues) – she loves animals

Susan was a Human Resources Specialist at the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years.  She provided stress management and relaxation classes for Postal events and meetings (1994-2010).  In the year 2000, Milwaukee Postal management asked her to design and roll out a wellness program for the Milwaukee and District offices.  As part of this program, Susan taught Feldenkrais lessons at Postmaster conventions and career conferences (2001-2010).  She also worked closely with the Safety Office and as a team member of the Ergonomic Risk Reduction Process (2001-2006), providing a Feldenkrais approach to improve the way city carriers, rural carriers, and clerks performed the functions of their jobs.  This entailed visiting many Post Offices to work one-on-one with injured employees and included service talks for the entire staff.

Susan has successfully assisted her adult clients improve athletic abilities, lesson chronic pain and migraines, and heal from injuries.   She has worked to improve the lives of children with autism, scoliosis, brain injury and anxiety disorder.  Feldenkrais and the Anat Baniel Method for Children facilitate individuals of all ages to reach their potential by using the modality of gentle movement to provide the brain with variations and choices to make positive changes.
