“Lessons for the neck, shoulders, chest, pelvis, hip joints and feet. As everything in our bodies is connected, you will benefit from any or all workshops. Often a shoulder issue is due to a decrease in freedom of the hip joints. Hip joint issues often stem from an immobile rib cage. Knee problems are related to tight ankles or hips. I encourage you to join us and learn to feel and sense more freedom and mobility throughout our whole self.”

The Feldenkrais Method
A somatic education system designed to reduce pain or limitations in movement, to improve physical function, and to promote general well-being by increasing students’ awareness of themselves and by expanding movement repertoire. Utilizing the brain’s unique capacity for life-long plasticity, the Feldenkrais Method accelerates learning and function more easily and effortlessly than standard manual or drug therapies in practice today. Despite the most traumatizing accidents, chronic conditions, or disorders, this modality is designed to stimulate and encourage the development of an optimal functioning nervous system.
