Self-Care Coaching

Hello and Welcome to my page!

It brings me so much joy to be able to offer one-on-one sessions and group classes designed to heal and empower people. At the heart of my work is the goal of moving energy through the body for optimal health and well-being. As we are made of energy, our energetic systems require movement and flow in order to function as the body is naturally designed to function. In a state of flow, without the congestion caused by stress and challenging emotions, our bodies can maintain a stable equilibrium or state of homeostasis – the perfect state for the bodies natural healing processes to occur.

I’m Bethamie Wyatt, and I’m an experienced, Certified Emotion Code Practitioner and founder of B’moved Healing Therapies providing emotion release therapy, as well as, Nia holistic dance, Restorative Yoga, Group Meditations, and Self-Care Coaching.

In addition, I hold a Master’s Degree in Women’s Studies with a concentration in women’s health education from Eastern Michigan University.  For over 15 years, I have provided safe and supportive health education workshops focusing on the physical, social and emotional health of women and girls.

About The EMOTION CODE Technique

The Emotion Code is a bio-energetic healing technique that frees the body of the weight of trapped emotions. This simple and gentle technique, using kinesiology or muscle-testing, releases years of built-up emotions that are often at the root of many physical ailments and emotional disturbances. Releasing these trapped emotions (with the use of healing magnets) often results in transformational experiences, allowing people to live a life of more clarity, balance, and flow, unstuck on their life paths and significantly happier and more content.

Jodi A. Brin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her therapeutic style is best described as integrative, utilizing the framework that she sees as most helpful to each individual, couple, or family that she works with. She has been trained in a variety of therapy modalities, including play therapy, behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. She has worked with clients and various clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, ADHD, and grief and loss. Dr. Brin has a wonderful ability to connect and empathize with clients, allowing her to use the therapeutic relationship to help her clients move in a positive, healing direction.

Dr. Brin believes that grief and loss experiences greatly affect all of our lives; whether it be a death of a loved one, loss of a pet, separation, divorce, loss of job, a move to a new house, a child moving to college, loss/change in health, etc. Dr. Brin believes that internalized, suppressed grief often leads to physical and mental health issues. After experiencing her own grief and loss, Dr. Brin became increasingly aware of the vast and conflicting emotions associated with grief and was intrigued by the verbal and nonverbal messages she received from others in response to her loss. Looking to explore this further, she found The Grief Recovery Institute and Participated in The Grief Recovery Method® Certification Program. As a certified grief recovery specialist, Dr. Brin helps to provide a safe, supportive environment in which the client can explore old beliefs about dealing with loss, identify what losses have effected one’s life, and help the client to take the steps necessary to complete the pain associated with those losses and move forward. In addition to helping adults, Dr. Brin helps grieving children to understand and express their feelings regarding their loss and helps the parent/ caregiver learn how to best support the child.

Dr. Brin also has a very special interest in psychological oncology. A member of the American Psychological Oncology Association, Dr. Brin works to treat the social, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and quality-of-life issues associated with cancer. Dr. Brin helps the client from the time of diagnosis, during treatment and survivorship, and through end of life issues and bereavement.

She is trained in play therapy, EMDR I and II, and is a certified Grief and Loss Specialist. Healing Hands Integrative Energy

Services:

Reiki Therapy
Crystal Healing

Maria Giordano, is a graduate of the Free Spirit School in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Maria established Healing Hands Integrated Energy Therapy in 2009 and  has studied crystal healing and Reiki I & II.  She continues to expand her knowledge of therapies to help her clients.

Healing Hands Integrated Energy Therapy uses the ancient healing techniques of Reiki, using the “life force energy” to heal by balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words “rei and ki” meaning universal life energy.

Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. Your Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki’s ki energies flow out of the practitioner’s body through the palms of the hands while they are touching or suspended slightly above your body.

Benefits of Reiki Therapy
Releases stress and pain
Calms anxiety and depression
Enhances recovery from surgery
Helps your immune system
Helps relieve neck and back problems
Provides relief from chronic illnesses and cancer
Helps manage high blood pressure and diabetes
Helps deepen spiritual connection
Creates a sense of well-being

You may also be asked to remove any jewelry such as rings, bracelets, pendants, etc., prior to the session, so consider leaving these items at home.

I am passionate and compassionate about helping people. I enjoy working as a healer, assisting others on their way to a healthy life style with a variety of very safe treatments with proven success.

A deeply spiritual person, over the years I have learned a variety of methods of healing that are truly life changing. I do this work with a lot of joy, caring and love.  I am an associate with the School Sister of Notre Dame. Services:

Body Centered Psychotherapy
Somatic Experiencing Therapy
Attachment & Relational Trauma Therapy
Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy

Melanie Murray, LPC, SEP, BCST is a psychotherapist that specializes in Somatic Experiencing Therapy. Melanie’s work is influenced by her mature nature as an empath, and intuitive healer. Somatic Experiencing touch work, her studies in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, a Masters in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, an apprenticeship with a world class healer, and study at Sufi Spiritual Healing School, have enhanced her natural ability to feel into others physical and emotional experience. This allows for a deep connection to the unconscious and energetic levels of psyche.

Melanie is a mediator, yoga teacher, former professional ballet dancer and professor of dance. The body has been her life-long study. Melanie is a student of Consciousness, “The Work” of Gurdjieff, Advita Vadanta, Christian and Sufi Mysticism, Chakra Energy Healing and Authentic Movement. She remains curious and open to exploring how our energetic/spiritual anatomy and nervous system inter-relate.

“Does your life lack luster? Is there a stream of unease, boredom, anxiety or fear running underneath the surface? Do you find yourself numbing out with sugar, alcohol, shopping or sex?

We are living in an increasingly secularized world. The pressure to achieve success, accrue more material goods and experience sensual pleasures associated with bottomless desires, is at the level of societal addiction. All of this frenzy is rooted in the avoidance of feeling the emptiness, grief and frustration caused by a lack of sacred presence of our soul. We are lacking a connection to the real meaning of sacred purpose in our daily lives, and we experience life as hungry ghosts.

My work is rooted in turning your wiring inside out. It is about embodiment or living from your center, your essential nature or soul. Through the tools of somatic experiencing therapy and biodynamic cranial, I can assist the unwinding of your nervous system, from the automatic hyper-drive setting you are living, to experiencing a sense of well-being and connection to an intimate and purposeful life.

I use psychotherapy, as well as, touch skills to facilitate a body-centered process of healing. This is a multi-dimensional process of unlayering the disturbances that keep you separate from your true nature. One layer is that of Coming out of the noise of the mind by learning to orient to your inner world of sensation, intuition and feeling. Another layer is softening your defenses and habitual ways of avoiding the fears and beliefs that have gotten you this wound up and numbered out. There may be layers of trauma that create anxiety that you fear unleashing in rage or a panic attack. All of these layers keep you from feeling really alive and available for true vulnerability and intimacy. A life of grace that we are wired to live but need help accessing.

As an empath I can tune in to places in your body where blocked energy is inhibiting your access to love. After all, love is what we are here to experience, both for ourselves, others and our home, the universe. Love is the evolutional force of our existence.

I have assisted hundreds of clients in the process of unwinding the layers of personality identities and defenses, energetic toxic loads that create illness, and trauma that inhibits life from being expressed in its full magnificent preciousness.

I guarantee at the core of your being is goodness and your body has the fuel you need to heal.

DR. NICOLE L. BICKHAM, PHD, LBT

WholeHearted Integrative BodyMind Therapies

Services:

Psychotherapy
Somatic Therapy
Counseling

Nicole L. Bickham, PhD, LMT, is a psychotherapist with a passion for body-mind healing. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, engaging, and integrative. Nicole operates from the belief that we begin life in a state of wholeness, and are innately oriented toward growth, but inevitably encounter experiences such as physical or emotional stress or trauma, or simply not getting our needs adequately met, that divert the natural process of development. While our human adaptability affords us ways of coping with these circumstances that work for us initially, these strategies may become restrictive later, limiting our growth and resulting in tension and anxiety, a sense of not “showing up” fully in one’s life and relationships, and mood difficulties.

Outdated patterns of thinking, behaving, and relating often occur automatically, below the level of conscious awareness, making them particularly challenging to access with traditional talk-based therapeutic approaches. The body-based, experiential techniques she incorporates are uniquely suited to accessing the “stories” held in the body so that challenging patterns can unfold and shift. She views her role as one of creating supportive and accepting space in which clients can cultivate inner resilience, rediscover their innate wholeness, and restore a sense of clarity and purpose.

Nicole received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University in 2002 and later studied somatic therapy, bodywork, and inner awareness practices. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is a Wisconsin licensed Bodywork Therapist. “The day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” -Anais Nin

Susan Trafton,EdD is a Licensed Psychologist.

“I provide a safe place for you to blossom. As the bud opens, the pain and hurt gradually release and the beautiful flower of who you are emerges. The therapeutic relationship provides the support necessary to allow that pain to be experienced so healing can happen.

My goal is to guide the individuals who come to me through the pain of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and difficult relationships to place where they can reclaim their birth right of joy, peace and love. My approach is holistic. I believe emotions, thoughts and painful body sensations are interconnected. The gateway into one’s healing can be through any of these doors. Usually all three ultimately need to be addressed. Healing of emotions occurs through allowing the pain to arise, be felt and thus let go. Healing of thought occurs through awareness that one’s thought patterns can create suffering. I help my clients become aware of their negative thinking and support them in choosing thoughts that bring a higher quality of life. I believe emotional pain is stored in the body which can result in body discomfort and illness. Thus, I help my clients release this stored pain. Through the psychotherapeutic process, the client gradually gains control of thoughts and emotions rather than be controlled by them. As the healing process proceeds my clients feel stronger, more resilient and self-confident, freed from past pain and empowered with techniques to live skillfully in their present lives. The ultimate goal is for the client to love themselves just as they are.

I achieve these goals through deep listening, cognitive behavioral therapy, inner child work, EMDR, mindfulness techniques, and yoga of poses and breath work.”
