Muscle Activation Techniques

A technique used to determine appropriate exercise progression.  Therapy’s goal is to systematically assess the body for muscular imbalances to determine the root cause of the client’s problem without the use of traditional protocols, which then allows the practitioner to build a personalized exercise program to appropriately challenge the body. The foundation principle of MAT is that muscle tightness is a form of protection in the body and is secondary to muscle weakness.
